The Department of Women and the department of Youth of IRCA held the second National Consultations on February 12, 2020.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the five religious communities in the country, members of the Department of Women and the Department of Youth.
Several important issues were addressed in the meeting, such as the active involvement of women and youth in national and international activities to further unfold the values of interfaith harmony and coexistence in Albania, and to convey them to other countries, as a special model.
Members of the two departments, established in 2019, discussed and came up with concrete ideas for various interfaith activities which can be organised in 2020.
This gathering follows the first National Consultations held in June 2019, where the working groups of both departments came up with important recommendations, which were then sent to the 10th World Assembly of “Religions for Peace”, held in Germany in August 2019.
